This book tells the true story of a young man, Christian, who has spent most of his life at St. Helene's orphanage in Haiti. Christian was born with many physical handicaps and his mother died when he was two years old. At the orphanage, he was surrounded with love and a great deal medical support, and nowadays he is a true inspiration to all who know him. Author Mary Anne Alton did volunteer work at St. Helene's orphanage, and was able to experience true joy in spending time with Christian.
The author, Mary Anne Alton, is donating all of her royalties to the NPH orphanage St. Helenes in Haiti. In addition, AIM Language Learning contributes 4% of sales revenues of this book to Doctors Without Borders to help their work in Haiti.
